SWELLNESS — Refunds & Returns Policy

At SWELLNESS, we want you to enjoy every purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as well as how we manage returns, refunds, and exchanges for both physical books and digital products.
1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product you purchase is:

Not fit for purpose
These rights apply automatically and cannot be excluded.
2. Physical Books
2.1 Eligibility for a Refund or Replacement
You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit if:

The book arrives damaged or faulty

The book differs significantly from its description

The wrong item was sent
2.2 Change of Mind
Because we are a small online retailer, we do not offer refunds for change of mind on any guides or books. We may, at our discretion, offer a return or exchange if the item is unused and in original condition. Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
2.3 Reporting an Issue
To request a refund or replacement, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to hello@swellnessguide.com. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if relevant.
3. Digital Products (eBooks)
3.1 Non-Refundable Policy
Because digital products cannot be “returned,” all ebook sales are final and non-refundable.
3.2 Exceptions Required by Law
A refund will still be provided if:

The file is corrupted or cannot be accessed

The ebook delivered is not the ebook described or purchased

A major failure occurs as defined by the ACL
If you experience a technical issue, please contact us and we will assist with replacement file access wherever possible.
4. Processing Refunds
If a refund is approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, through Shopify.

Processing time is typically 3–10 business days, depending on your bank
5. Shipping Costs

For all returns or change-of-mind cases (where approved), return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
